Dion Jordan

Defensive End/Linebacker – Oregon

6’6″ 248lbs

Strengths

-Elite explosiveness

-Elite Height and Length

-Fast on outside pass rush

-Good coverage skills

-Drops well in coverage

-Frame to gain weight without losing speed

-Ideal fit as 3-4 outside linebacker

-Massive upside

Weaknesses

-Needs to develop pass rush moves; mainly uses speed rush

-Needs to develop upper body strength and run defense

Summary

Dion Jordan is an intriguing prospect because of his size and athleticism. He also has experience dropping into coverage as a linebacker, where he excelled. The explosiveness he displays off the edge is elite and he will beat a lot of offensive tackles simply based on his first step. If he can develop more technique with his hands and put on a little weight, he could be a franchise player for years to come.

Player Comparison: Jason Taylor
